However, with this new technology, the quality of rural roads will also improve and the cost will also come down. Whereas, approval for the construction of 1500 km of roads is likely to be received in the near future. The minister said that the state government would also spend Rs 1603 crore on the construction of 280 roads and 84 bridges. Out of this, the Central Government will spend 953 crores and the State Government will spend 650 crores. Let me inform that soon the tender will be issued for the construction of these roads and bridges. Efforts will be made here that its construction work should be completed in 2 to 3 years.

However, on the repair of the already built roads, the Minister said that all the roads are being repaired under the new policy. There is a strict order to the executive engineers of the districts to maintain the quality of rural roads at any cost. In any case, the roads leading to the block or Haat-Bazar will be kept in good condition. On the other hand, if any road has been damaged in the floods of last year, then its repair will be completed without delay, so that people do not face any problem. If there is any negligence in road construction or repair, it will not be tolerated at all. Along with this, strict action will be taken against the erring engineers.
